How to Choose Your 24 Ft Round Liner — 3 Steps
1
Bead Type
Match your pool's liner track system.
  • Standard Bead (J-Bead) — snaps into a C-shaped bead receiver track on the pool wall. Required if your pool has a receiver.
  • Overlap — drapes over the wall, secured with coping clips. No bead receiver needed. Most economical.
  • Unibead (J-Hook) — dual-purpose: hooks over the wall like overlap OR tear off the strip to snap into a bead receiver. Best if unsure.
  • EZ Bead — like Unibead but no tear-off strip needed. Fits as a J-hook or receiver bead right out of the box.
2
Wall Height
Measure the outside of the metal wall — top edge to bottom rail.
  • 48 inch (4 ft) — most common standard wall height.
  • 52 inch — taller, more volume. Verify before ordering.
  • 54 inch — less common, found on select models.
  • Never measure from inside — the pool cove gives a false reading.
3
Liner Thickness
Balance durability with ease of installation.
  • 20 mil (Standard) — excellent value and flexibility. Easiest for DIY installation.
  • Thicker Premium (e.g., 25 mil) — heavier and more puncture-resistant. Best for active families and pets.
  • Mil vs Gauge — "Mil" is the true industry standard measurement; "gauge" varies by brand.
  • All thicknesses are available in various patterns and bead types.
