The cleaner vacuums the bottom and sweeps the sides of any aboveground pool. It does this in three hours or less, even if the pool has an uneven bottom as deep as five feet. The Turtle can be installed in minutes and is designed to operate with the pumps and filtration system normally found in aboveground pools.

The Turbo Turtle uses a patented jet sweep assembly. It blows water against the pool wall to loosen debris in hard-to-reach places, like behind the pool ladder. The debris is then blown by the jets into an easy-to-remove filter bag.

The Turbo Turtle is powered by the pressure of clean water returning to the pool. Its unique filter bag removes any debris before it reaches the pump basket or filter. This can reduce filter cleanings by up to 80% a year, prolonging the life of the filtration system.The filter is free to cleanse the water and the skimmer is ready to clean the top six inches of the pool where 75% of the bacteriological contaminants live.
