The Teledyne Laars XL-3 oil fired swimming pool heater is a high performance heater that utilizes a carefully balanced water flow though a stainless steel heat exchanger to prevent internal scale and stop external corrosive condensation. The XL-3 is fully automatic and is provided with a full complement of safety features that regulate against unsafe water temperatures, water flow failure and flame failure. It may be installed either indoors with a chimney top (optional) or outdoors and is designed to burn either No. 2 fuel oil or No. 2 diesel fuel. The unit has a height of 34¾ inches, a depth of 26½ inches and a width of 26¾ inches.
