Spa Down granular formula lowers
pH and total alkalinity. Helps reduce eye and skin irritation
and helps increase effectiveness of disinfectants. Spa Down granular
formula is used to lower the pH of spa and hot tub water. It is
important to maintain the pH between 7.2 and 7.8. The pH is effectively
maintained by keeping total alkalinity between 80 and 140 parts
per million. pH and total alkalinity are related. They should
be tested and the results considered together. After testing the
water, refer to the pH-total alkalinity chart located on the back
side of the bottle to determine the correct amount of Spa Down
to use.
