Palintest's new Pooltest 5-in-1 makes spa/pool water monitoring easy! The Pooltest 5 is a new pocket-size, multi-parameter photometer designed for simple, routine spa/pool water disinfection control and pH monitoring. All tests are based on long-life, foil-packed reagent tablets that are convenient to handle and ensure precise results.

Tests are quick and simple to perform. A menu button selects the test, the water sample tube is placed in the instrument and a simple press of the button instantly displays the result.

The instrument measures:
Chlorine in the 0.00-5.00 ppm range,
Bromine from 0.00-10.00 ppm,
pH between 6.80 and 8.40,
Cyanuric acid from 0.00-100.00 ppm, and
Alkalinity from 0.00-500.00 ppm.

Using the DPD test reagents, free, combined and total chlorine measurements can be made. This meter has automatic blank recognition and zero setting. This hand-held instrument is powered by two 1.5V batteries with a typical life of 20,000 readings.
